    • The churches and the monuments and breathtaking views are certainly not to be missed. But it’s the corners you walk by when you’re tired and hot and are dreaming of taking a nap or just sitting down; it’s those corners that are where the heartbeat of a place is. 📷 in Capri almost a year ago.
    • I miss being warm. Photo in sunnier times by @alyssamonette.
    • Home. She’s growing up pretty quickly, but I’m learning to embrace it.
    • When it’s an absolute downpour, but you really want the space needle in your shot, you run outside and see how many photos you can take in 15 seconds. 📷 thanks to @nw_rider. #doitforthegram. In spite of the rain, it was a magical evening celebrating the union of @zboralski and @mamazbo. Cheers to the rest of your lives 🥂
    • The lineup lately. #nighttimeroutine
    • We do use umbrellas in Seattle...on Fridays ☔️
    • I’ve been on a podcast binge lately. It’s been hard for me to get into podcasts because when I’m in a situation where I can listen to one, it’s habit to just put music on.⠀⠀
•⠀⠀
But the trick for me to start has been finding people that are being interviewed that I already know I want to listen to. ⠀⠀
@jedidiahjenkins and @ruthielindsey. If you don’t know, look them up, and I dare you to try to not be absolutely taken with them both. She lives with chronic pain every single day and is the most positive, shiny person I’ve ever come across. He rode his bicycle from Oregon to Patagonia, and has a way with words I can only dream of. (Listen to #thelovelovelove ep.16). I’m so in love with these two people that I’ve never met.⠀⠀
•⠀⠀
And they are so in love with each other! But just best best friends. She calls him her gay husband. He says, “It’s like, you can float away, I can float away, and we’ll always return ‘cause our spirits are in the same river.” ⠀⠀
•⠀⠀
MY POINT: has nothing to do with this. THERE’S A NEW POST ON THE BLOG. If you’re still reading far enough to see this, bless you. ...and check out my new post (link in profile) I’m starting a new series called “Life Lately”, and part of it is telling you to go listen to these angels. ⠀⠀
•⠀⠀
That’s all. Happy almost Friday✌🏼Ph: @alyssamonette
    • Checking another restaurant off the list with my two favorite women. The rockfish ceviche and black cod are👌🏼
    • “Put a belt on it.” Friday outfit motto? Sure. Ph: @alyssamonette
